Applications Open for the NAHRO Merit and NAHRO-LDG College Scholarship

It's that time of year - Applications for the NAHRO Merit Scholarship and the NAHRO-LDG Scholarship program are open! Take advantage of this special opportunity - eight scholars who live in NAHRO agency member-provided housing will win a scholarship to continue their studies after graduating high school.

One of our Residents could be one of those eight scholarship recipients.

Inviting Our Residents: Apply for the BEYOND Scholarship 2022

Brooks Jeffrey has built a legacy of innovation by recognizing and developing outstanding talent. We encourage others to push BEYOND what's expected to change lives, communities, and ideals.

The Brooks Jeffrey BEYOND Scholarship is available to our resident high school seniors who plan to enroll in a post-secondary institution.

Applicants must be residents of our Housing Authority. An eligible recipient must be an immediate member of a family who has resided in our housing for a minimum of one, uninterrupted year.

A $500, one-time scholarship will be awarded to one student in both North and South Carolina. Awards are based on need, academic merit, community involvement, career goals, and a brief essay.

CCHRCO Scholarship Program - Deadline - May Annually

Five CCHRCO scholarships for $1,000 per year for one year

  • One SERC scholarship for $1,000 per year for one year
  • One SERC scholarship for $1,500 per year for one year 

Applicants must submit an essay of 200-400 words describing your experience living in assisted housing and how it contributed to your ambitions and goals and what you would hope to contribute to society through your educational training.
