2023 Resident Meetings

Bladen and Bladenboro Housing Authorities held our annual resident meetings from June 12th through the 15th, 2023. This was the first time meeting with our residents since the COVID-19 Pandemic. All meetings were well attended, with everyone receiving fire safety information, flyers, and other goodies.

Bladen County Health Department and Goshen Medical Care were on site and provided information on health services available to the community. COVID-19 shots and boosters were provided by the Health Department as well. There were gift bags for both adults and children with fun and informative goodies.

Bladen County Sheriff's Department spoke with our families about community safety and addressed any concerns the residents had for their communities.

The Housing Authorities' staff served hotdogs, freshly popped popcorn, and most popular of all was the snow cone machine. Children and adults alike enjoyed the refreshing treat with many flavors to choose. Door prizes were provided, and the excitement of winning was reflected on the faces of those who had their lucky number drawn. We thank everyone who attended and look forward to seeing you all next year.

Special thanks go to Bladen County Health Department, Goshen Medical Care, and Bladen County Sheriff's Department. We could not have provided such a wonderful time for our families without your assistance the entire week. Thank you!
