Completed Consolidation of Elizabethtown & Clarkton Housing Authorities

The newly formed Bladen Housing Authority begins operation, a culmination of two years' work to successfully complete consolidation of the Elizabethtown and Clarkton Housing Authorities. This was a collaborative effort between the Boards of Commissioners for the Clarkton and Elizabethtown Housing Authorities, as well as the town boards and mayors of Clarkton and Elizabethtown. The focus was to operate one authority which administratively was better for residents, staff and be more cost efficient as well.
